Young Readers Pajama Day
Today is a $1.00 dress down day for the school to celebrate National Young Readers Week. All money collected will be donated to the Book Bus.
- K-2 students who pay $1.00 will be allowed to wear their PJ’s to school.
- Students in the upper grades who pay $1.00 may wear comfy clothing, like sweats to have relaxed reading times. All clothing should be school appropriate.
During the day we will have surprise DEAR (Drop Everything And Read) times. Students should have a book to carry around with them to all their classes so that no matter where they are when DEAR time is announced, everyone has something to read.
The last period will be spent having students meet with their buddies to read together.
